1977
Start of Company
Lexair was founded in April of 1977 as a manufacturer of high pressure compressors and stainless steel valves for the United States Navy.
First CO2 compressor introduced the same year.

1985
Acquired Beckett-Harcum
Mid-year 1985 we acquired all rights to the hydraulic and pneumatic valve lines from Airmatic Allied (a division of Snaptite, Inc) which included the Hi-Cyclic® product line from Beckett-Harcum.

1989
Move to Mercer Road
Lexair moved to Mercer Road from Gold Rush, establishing the Lexington facility that still anchors our operations today.

1994
The Rhinobar®
In 1994 we introduced our first barfeed product, the Rhinobar®. This heavy-duty hydrodynamic bar feeder for CNC lathes launched Lexair firmly into the Machine Tool Accessory marketplace.

1996
Extension on Lexair
Facility expansion supported growing manufacturing capacity for valves and machine tool accessories.

2000
Acquired Production Dynamics
Lexair acquired all rights to the Production Dynamics series, which included the Prodyne® and FullBore® chucks.

2012
SYSTEC
In 2012, we were appointed to be the North American importer and master distributor for SYSTEC, the leading manufacturer of chucks in Brazil.

2014
Breuning-IRCO
In the spring of 2014 Lexair became the exclusive importer and distributor of Breuning IRCO in North and South America.

2017
40th Year Anniversary
Lexair celebrates 40 years of American manufacturing, engineering, and customer partnership.
